One night recently, as R. W. Griggs,
of Exira, started for his home from the
drug store he was struck in the face by a
chunk of coal thrown by some villain
that intended to kill him, the would be
assasin run at once and it being dark he
escaped, his only punishment is a guilty
conscience if he has such a thing.
