While at the Kansas City stock
yards recently with a large shipment
of Oklahoma cattle, Charley Gault fell
from a horse and was so injured that
he was sent to the hospital for a few
days. The time lost by the accident
prevented his coming to Exira to visit.

Note: Parents of Charles Richard Gault (1868-1925) were Richard Gault, Irish immigrant, and Mary Leffingwell Herrick.
