Greeley Farm Home
Burned to Ground--------
The farm home of Lee Rubel in
Greeley township was destroyed by
fire at about 9:30 p. m. Saturday. No one was at home when the
fire, which was of unknown origin
broke out. Among the first to ar-
rive was William Covault, but the
fire had gained such headway that
it was impossible to save any con-
tents of the house. The Audubon fire farm fire truck an-
swered an alarm but was not used,
since no outbuildings were endang-
ered. The farm is owned by J. S. Small,
former Exira resident.Note: Parents of Lee Harry Rubel were Peter T. Rubel and Amelia T. Sabel.
