LOCAL HAPPENINGS

Frank Kommes had the thumb on
his left hand amputated at the first
joint Monday afternoon due to an
injury while unloading a corrugated
culvert. The injury will keep him
from work for some time.

Note: Parents of Frank J. Kommes were John Pete Kommes and Margaret N. "Maggie" Nickels.
