Ralph Channon, residing east of
town, had the middle finger of his
left hand taken off at the first
joint yesterday, in a corn sheller.

Note: Parents of Ralph Waldo Channon (1893-1957) were James "Jim" Channon and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Young. He was married to Carolene Mathilda "Lena" Jensen.
