Leonard Kline Elected to
Office in Coe Fraternity

The many friends of Leonard
Kline will be glad to learn that he
has been elected Vice President of
the Clan of C, the Coe College
athletic fraternity, which includes
all letter men of the school.

Leonard is also Editor-in-chief of
the 1922 "Acorn," the Junior an-
nual.

Leonard Kline was injured last
week while playing football with
the Coe College team against
Grinnell, and has been confined in
the Grinnell hospital.

Entertain Coe Students

Dr. and Mrs. R. A. Jacobsen en-
tertained at a three course dinner
at their home last Saturday even-
ing. The affair was given in honor
of Leonard Kline and two college
pals from Coe, Mr. Bruce West
and Mervin A. Colip. Mr. West
is captain of the college football
team. Henry Hunt, of the Kear-
ney Pharmacy and Miss Edith
Brown, sister of the hostess, were
also guests. The college boys re-
turned to their work the following
day.

Note: Parents of Joe Leonard "Doc" Kline (1898-1968) were Jacob Woodson "Wood" Kline and Nellie Hannah Hellyer.
