Hayes-Alt Wedding Takes
Place in Minneapolis

Ferns and asters formed the set-
ting for the marriage of Mrs. Alice
Hayes of Atlantic, Iowa, and Mr.
William Alt, Jr., of Exira, Iowa,
which took place at 6:30 o'clock,
Tuesday evening, at the home of
the bride's cousin, Mrs. Irven E.
Stevenson, 1320 Sixth street south-
east. The Rev. G. S. Bennett of
the Portland Avenue Christian
church read the service in the pres-
cence of the immediate families.

The bride who was unattended,
wore a navy blue suit and a cor-
sage bouquet of pink roses.

Following the ceremony a wed-
ding dinner was served. Mr. and
Mrs. Alt spent their honeymoon in
the Twin Cities. They will make
their home at Exira. - Minneapolis
Morning Tribune.

Mr. and Mrs. Alt returned to
Exira, Saturday afternoon to reside
on the groom's farm east of Exira.

Hosts of friends join in extend-
ing congratulations and wish the
couple happiness and success.

Note: Alice Mae Turner was the daughter of Nathaniel "Nate" Turner and Margaret Frances Richardson. She was the widow of Stewart Alburtis "Burt" Hays (1894-1920).
William Charles Alt was the son of William Alt and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Lang. Alice and William were divorced about 1923. William was also married in 1908 to Nina Belle Hays (1880-1919) and in 1928 to Rose C. "Rosie" Axelsen.
