People Wed
In Past Week

Married Life

Miss Ida Sorensen of Elk Horn
and Raymond E. Kleuver of Atlan-
tic, were married Wednesday eve-
ning at 6 o'clock at the home of
the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Matt Kleuver. The Rev. G. A.
Hensel of Peace Evangelical church
conducted the marriage service in
the presence of immediate rela-
tives of the young people. Mr. and
Mrs. Bonner Gustason attended the
bridal party.

Following the ceremony a wed-
ding dinner was served. After a
short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs.
Kleuver will be at home on his
father's farm a mile south of Anita.

The bride is the daughter of Nels
O. Sorensen of Elk Horn.

Nelsen--Nielsen

Martha Nelsen, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Anton Nelsen of Exira,
and Axel E. Nielsen, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Soren Nielsen of Blair, Ne-
braska, were united in marriage at
3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at
the parsonage of St. Paul's Luther-
an church in Atlantic. The Rev.
Lawrence Siersbeck read the mar-
riage service. Miss Tilda Nelsen of
Atlantic, sister of the bride, and
Bryan Marr of Blair were the at-
tendants. The newlyweds plan to
make their home at Blair.

Williams--Sheley

Miss Elsie Williams and Wayne
Sheley of Ross, were married Wed-
nesday afternoon at 3:30 by the
Rev. William Mack at the Presby-
terian manse in Atlantic. The ring
ceremony was performed. Wit-
nesses were Mrs. John Ratzlaft and
Mrs. William Mack.

The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Dave D. Williams and Mr.
Sheley is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Audubon Sheley.

They will make their home on a
farm in Audubon county.

Owen--Davis

Wednesday afternoon at the Pres-
byterian manse, Bernard G. Owen
and Mildred Davis, both of Audu-
bon, were united in marriage by
the Rev. William Mack. The ring
ceremony was used. The bridal
couple was accompanied by John
C. Davis and Mrs. Myrtle L. Bush,
brother and sister of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. George F. Davis of Audu-
bon and the bridegroom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Owen of Atlan-
tic. After a wedding trip to the
west they will be at home on a farm
near Audubon.

Artist--Kirkwood

Helen Lucille Artist of Exira and
Louis Fulton Kirkwood of north of
Adair were married in Atlantic Sat-
urday afternoon at 2:30 by the Rev.
Warren H. Meredith at the Metho-
dist parsonage. They were attend-
ed by the bride's sister, Miss Mar-
gery Artist and George Wahlert.

The bride was graduated from
the Exira high school in 1926. She
is the daughter of John H. Artist
of east of Exira. Mr. Kirkwood,
the son of Joshua B. Kirkwood of
north of Adair, attended the At-
lantic high school two years and
was graduated from Panora high
school in 1922.

They will make their home on a
farm near North Branch

Hoover-Mitsch

Miss Ellowene Hoover, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hoover liv-
ing east ot town, was united in mar-
riage to Alfred Mitsch of Lake
Beulah, Wisconsin, at 12:30 on
Sunday afternoon. The marriage
was solemnized by the Rev. A. G.
Whittier at his home here. The
couple were accompanied by Mr.
and Mrs. George Hoover, Mr. Hoov-
er being a brother of the bride.

Following a honeymoon trip to
Minnesota the couple will make
their home in Wisconsin.
