Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Roberts
Given A Pleasant Surprise

Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Roberts, who
reside near Brayton, were given
a most pleasant surprise Friday
evening when some 135 guests
called at their home to help them
celebrate their 25th wedding an-
niversary. The time was spent in
a social way and playing games,
and a bounteous feast was served
by the guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Roberts received
some valuable gifts of silver as
a token of the high esteem in
which they are held in the com-
munity.

Note: Issac Jefferson "Jeff" Roberts and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Tando were married February 18, 1913 at Atlantic, Cass county, Iowa.
