VFW Post 4119 Organized 1945
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4119 was organized in May of 1945 with about 30 members and has increased to a present member ship of 215. The post has its own building, a 30 x 60 foot cement block structure located on Highway 71 in north Audubon, and a club room is open every day at 3:30. Its first commander was Leonard Madsen, now County auditor, and Lawrence Bowman is the present commander of the post.
