Audubon Lumber Company Started 60 Years Ago
For over 60 years, Green Bay Lumber company, Audubon, has served customers in this area. Manager of the local lumber company is Lloyd Graham, who has been with the Audubon branch for 35 years, after coming to Audubon from Exira in 1910. A two story office building, with living quarters upstairs, served as the headquarters until 1930, when the office was moved to the present building. Lowe Brothers paints, Red Top steel posts and Hi-Low Kentucky coal are some of the products sold. A tremendous expansion during the last 25 years is reported by Graham.
