Randolph & Steen Started in 1947 At Kimballton
Randolph and Steen, Kimballton, established their business January 1, 1947, and sell a wide variety of insurance, real estate and services. The two partners, Leonard Steen and Donald Randolph were both born and have lived in Audubon county practically all their lives. They purchased their building and business from Andrew Winther, and in the last few years the volume of business has more than tripled, Randolph handles auctions for the firm, and a sale is held every Wednesday night during the summer in a sale barn at Kimballton. Large sales are held, with capacity crowds in attendance at the sales. During the winter, sales are held on a different day of the week. Prior to buying their own business at Kimballton, the two partners worked for C. P. Christensen, Audubon.
