Chas. VanGorder Passes
Eighty-fourth Milestone

Last Sunday Chas. VanGorder of
of Audubon passed his eighty-fourth
milestone and the family and rela-
tives gathered at the home to cele-
brate the occasion. Mrs. Kirk of
Chicago, his daughter, was present
also his neice, Mrs. Leake and hus-
band of this place.

Mr. VanGorder is well known
here having once been a resident of
Exira and being prominently con-
nected with the business interests
of Audubon county since its early
settlement.

Looking forward eighty-four years
seems a long time, but looking back-
ward the time seems short, as
doubtless Mr. VanGorder can testi-
fy. His numerous friends join in
hoping that many more birthdays
may be added to the list.
