Had Miraculous Escape
When Train Hits Auto

While Marius Jorgensen was dri-
ving into town, Tuesday afternoon,
he had such a narrow escape from
death that the fright will probably
be remembered for sometime.

He was driving his Ford car from
the west but when at the crossing
just south of the depot, he failed to
see the 3:30 train coming from the
north. In trying to avoid a colli-
sion he swerved the car to one side
but was so close to the track that
the engine caught the rear end of
his car and almost totally demol-
ished it. Young Jorgensen escaped
with only slight bruises on one arm.
