COUPLE WEDDED

Miss Mary Ide and Mr. Ray-
mond Anderson Married
Last Thursday

On Thursday, December 30th at
the Springview Farm, the bride's
home occurred the marriage of Miss
Mary Ide, daughter of Mr. and Mrs
O. F. Ide, and Raymond Anderson,
son of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Anderson.

Preceding the ceremony at high
noon, Mrs. A. C. Mortensen, the
bride's sister, sang "Sacrament"
after which Mrs. A. G. Anderson
sang "At Dawning." Then, to the
strains of Mendelsohn's Wedding
March, the bridal couple took their
places under the colonnade between
dining room and living room,
where decorations in pink and white
were arranged. Here the ring ser-
vice was performed by Rev. Hugh
F. Moore of the Baptist church of
Atlantic.

Following the ceremony a four
course luncheon was served, the
scheme of pink and white being
carried out in the refreshments as
well as decorations.

The bride was gowned in white
satin and wore a tulle veil. She
carried a bouquet of Ophelia roses.

Those from out of town who
attended were: Mr. and Mrs. P. A.
Petersen and son Emery, Henry
Andersen of Elk Horn, Mr. and Mrs.
C. E., Kringel and sons Carl and
Leon, Mr. John Hendrickson, Rev.
and Mrs. Moore of Atlantic, Miss
Nellie Bookout of Dexter, Miss
Blanche Noon, Harvey Jensen and
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hensley of Exira.

The happy couple left shortly
after the luncheon for a short trip
and will be home after January 10
at Valley View Farm, Brayton,
Iowa.

Note: Parents of Mary Marjory Ide were Owen Fowler Ide and Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie S." Cotton.
Parents of Soren Raymond Anderson were Andrew Fred "A.F." Anderson and Osilla Marie Kringel.
