Exira Young Couple
Married On June 8th

Sherman Peppers and Miss Ruth
Chase were married Monday, June
8th, at Adel it was learned last
week. The couple were unattended.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Lona Peppers of north-
east of town and the bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy
Chase of Exira.

They were chariavaried by their
friends Sunday evening and taken
for a tour of the country in a light
truck. In payment for the ride they
are giving a dance at the Legion
hall tonight.

Note: Parents of Ruth Virginia Chase were James Leroy "Roy" Chase and Florence Viola Whitmore.
Parents of Sherman John "Sherm" Peppers were Lona R. Peppers, Sr. and Helen Iola "Nellie" Twist.
