Mrs. Julius Herrick
Underwent Major Operation

Mrs. Julius Herrick (Myrtle Mae Hansen) was operated
on at the Atlantic hospital last Tues-
day for the removal of a tumor. Drs.
Becker and Koob performed the oper-
ation. She was accompanied to At-
lantic by her husband, her father and
mother, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hansen,
and by Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hensley.
She is getting along as well as can
be expected at this time and if no
complicatioins arise, she will be re-
leased from the hosptial in about a
week. The little son, Howard Duane,
is being cared for at the home of his
grandparents.

Note: Parents of Myrtle Mae Hansen were Peter "Pete" Hansen and Sophia Johnson.
