LOCAL HAPPENINGS

Members of the Junior Study
club met Friday evening, Septem-
ber 3, at the home of Louise Bau-
er. An outline of the year's work
was given by Elsie Gault, president
of the club. Reports were given
by the secretary and the treasur-
er. Roll call was answered by
naming a favorite book. Five new
members were voted into the club.
A dessert lunch was served by the
hostess. The next meeting will be
held September 17 at the home of
Phyllis Hansen.
