LOCAL NEWS

Ralph Newman, 10-year-old son
of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Newman,
had the thumb of his left hand am-
putated at the first joint follow-
ing an accident one day last week.
He was riding a bicycle, when he
took a spill which caused the in-
jury necessitating the amputation.
He returned to school this week.

Note: Parents were Clyde Newman and Vera Tanner.
