Home Here (Exira) Damaged
By Fire Monday Eve

The home of Mr. and Mrs.
Everett Kline was damaged con-
siderably by fire Monday evening.
The fire was discovered about 7
o'clock by a passerby and the
alarm turned in. When firemen ar-
rived the roof was ablaze and the
attic was also filled with fire and
smoke. Following a stubborn fight,
the blaze was extinguished.

Considerable damage was done
to the interior and to the contents
because of water and smoke, but
it is understood the loss is covered
by insurance.

Exira has been exceptionally
lucky insofar as loss from fire is
concerned for several years past
and we hope this record will be
maintained for several years to
come.

Note: Evart Norman Kline was married to Florence Irene Witte.
