The wedding of John D. Reynolds
and Miss Wilhelmina Johnson was
solemnized in the Brayton Baptist
church at ten o'clock Wednesday morn-
ing by the Rev. William Mack of At-
lantic.

The church was partially decorated
and the altar was flanked with potted
plants. Miss Vera Nelson sang "I
Love You Truly" during the ceremony
and Mrs. Henry Petersen played Men-
dlesohn's wedding march. Only the
immediate members of the two families
were in attendance.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. J. A. Johnson of southwest of
town. The groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Reynolds of Greeley
township. Both are highly esteemed
and have numerous friends who join
us in wishing their health, happiness
and prosperity.

After a short wedding trip, the cou-
ple will reside on the Reynolds farm
in Greeley township.

This is the first marriage service
to be performed in the Brayton church
though it was built 35 years ago. The
contracting parties are both members
of this church and fittingly chose it
as the place of their wedding.

Note: Wilhelmina Elizabeth Johnson's parents were John A. Johnson and Ida Matilda Erickson.
John Drew Reynolds' parents were Frederick "Fred" Reynolds and Sevilla Agnes Paige.
