Mr. William Foley, one of the oldest residents of Taylor township, who has for several days, laid at death's door, passed peacefully away at an early hour Monday morning at the age of fifty-six. The funeral will take place on Wednesday at the Paint Rock church.

William Foley, an old resident of this township, died on the morning of the 15th, after an illness of some weeks.

The deceased was born in Ireland, has been a resident of Allamakee 26 years, and was fifty six years of age.

His funeral took place at Paint Rock church, yesterday, and was largely attended by his friends, by whom he was held in high esteem.
