DEATH - At Calmar on the 10th inst of Typhoid Pneumonia, John Ferguson, aged sixty-two years.

The deceased was a former well known resident of this county, and for many years a citizen of Postville where he kept the old Merchants' hotel for some eight years, subsequentl removing to Calmar to engage in the same business. He was in every respect a worthy citizen.

The funeral ceremonies were conducted under auspices of the Odd Fellows' Lodge, at Postville, of which the deceased was a member.
