Many friends will be pained to learn of the death of Mrs. E.E. Laughlin which occurred at the family home in Concord township yesterday morning at 4 o'clock. Deceased had been ill for several weeks and suffered much.

A husband, Edgar E. Laughlin, to whom she was married in 1882, and five children, are bereft. Family relatives are mother, Mrs. May Jones of Howard; sisters, Mrs. A.M. Conly of Howard, Mrs. Clarence Laughlin of Concord; brothers, C.H. Jones of Rice Lake, Wis., W.F. Jones of Georgetown, S.C., Lester Jones of Howard.

Deceased was born in Allamakee county, Iowa, March 30, 1864.

Much sympathy is expressed for the bereaved husband and motherless children. The funeral will be held from the family home at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning, the Rev. Mr. Alderson of Winfred officiating. The burial will take place in Madison cemetery in the afternoon.
