On Wednesday, a Mr. Cosgrove, who resides near Rossville, while driving home and seated on a load of hay, during a storm, was struck by lightning and instantly killed.
One of the horses in his team was also killed. The father of the unfortunate man was also seated upon the wagon at the same time but escaped without serious injury.
The deceased leaves a wife and one child. We are without further particulars at this writing.
