Waukon, Aug. 29, 1879 - Another death is that of Mrs. J.F. Pitts [sic], an invalid for years, which occurred on Sunday at her residence near town.

Note: Burial is in Oakland Main cemetery. According to the 1882 Bio of her husband John F. PITT, she was his 1st wife, and her maiden name was PARKER.
