Mrs. Charles Krugner passed away Tuesday of last week at the home of her foster son, Theodore Krugner, in Jefferson township a few miles southeast of Waukon. Death resulted from the infirmities of old age and followed a four weeks' illness.

The deceased was born in Makee township. Her maiden name was Caroline Kosbau, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kosbau, and she was aged 77 years August 8 last.

December 22, 1876, she was united in marriage with Charles Krugner. No children came to them and she is survived by an adopted son, Theodore.

Her husband preceded her in death some years ago and there are no surviving members of her family. She lived in Waukon for some years, but returned to the farm two years ago.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Zion Reformed church, the pastor, Rev. Stucki, officiating, burial taking place in the family lot in Oakland Cemetery.
