Death of Adolph Ellexson
Following a period of ill health, the above gentleman passed away Sunday, May 15th at Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, where he was taken on Thursday of last week. About a years ago he was hospitalized and for a time seemed to regain his failing health.He was born June 23rd, 1875 in Lansing, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eile Ellexson, who preceded him in death as did his only sister. After attending the Lansing city schools, he worked for years in the button factories and was gainfully employed about Lansing his entire life.
He never married and besides his several cousins here is survived by one niece, Mrs. Frank Hammerstrom, of Duluth, Minn., who with her husband came to attend the funeral services.
The burial services were held from the Burke Funeral Home yesterday afternoon to Our Savior's Lutheran Church at two o'clock with the Rev. Dr. T.A. Hoff officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were six neighbors and friends, Melvin and Oscar Ellefson, Charles Aldrich, Charles Bischoff, Dr. Theo. Schott and George Cavers.
