Mrs. Olga Ellefson, 57, a native of Waukon, died March 7 at Aberdeen, Washington, following an extended illness Her funeral was held from Our Saviour's Lutheran church with the Rev. Mr. R.D. Brandt officiating ,and burial was in Fern Hill cemetery there on March 11.
Mrs. Ellefson had been a resident of Vermillion, S.D., for 13 years before she moved to Washington. She was very active in the work of Our Saviour's Lutheran church, as a deaconess, Sunday school teacher and member of the Ladies aid.
Remaining are Mrs. Ellefson's husband, Hermod, a daughter, Mrs. Lester Carlson, and a son, Ordell Ellefson, all of Aberdeen, five grandchildren, six brothers and sisters are Ingvold, Melvin, Julius, Ottenus, Paul and Theodore, Mrs. Alert Roe and Idelia Bakke, all of Waukon.
