Mrs. C. Bakke passed away at the Veterans Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, July 24. She had been a resident at the Good Samaritan Home for the past year.

Marie Leikvold, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sever Leikvold, was born in Paint Creek township on April 6, 1883. She was married to C. Bakke who passed away about 7 years ago. She was the last of her family, the last of four sisters born to the Sever Leikvold's. There are no immediate survivors, only neices and nephews.

Services were held on Monday afternoon at 1:30 P.M. from the West Synod Church, Elon, with the Rev. Mr. Neil Hilton officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Bakke and Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
