HUENEMAN, HANSMEIER, SCHLINKMEIER, HUBER, STREYLE

Funeral services for Mrs. William Huenneman of Garner were held Sunday at Zion Reformed church, conducted by the Rev. F.E. Stucki in English and the Rev. K.J. Stuebbe of Tripp, S.D., in German. As Mary Hansmeier she was born Feb., 24, 1885. She was married Oct. 23, 1907, to William Huenneman. They were the parents of thirteen children Mrs. Otto Huber of Menno, S.D., Mrs. Albert Streyle of Fremont, S.D., Reuben and Calvin attending the Mission House school at Plymouth, Wis., Ruth, student at the University of Wisconsin, Erna, Dorothea, Carl, Elmer, Edward, Lorenz, Paul and William, jr., at home. She is also survived by her mother, three grandchildren and ten brothers and sisters who live at distant points except Elmer, Theodore, Edward and Lydia Hansmeier of Waukon.

Note: Transcribed as published. The last name should be spelled Hueneman and Allamakee County Obituary Index records spell Karl instead of Carl. Find a Grave records indicate Mary Hueneman was the daughter of Henry and Sophia (Schlinkmeier) Hansmeier.
