John Wilson Robison, son of Datis Robison and Eliza McKemson, was born September 28, 1891in Adams County, Iowa, died February 5, 1958 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was aged 68 years, 4 months, and 8 days at his death. He was a veteran of the First World War.
On July 13, 1921 in Adams County, Iowa he was united in marriage to Grace E. Curry in Atlantic, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Grace, two sisters, Mrs. Minerva Smith and mrs. Ma Hoselton, two brothers, Ira Robison and Harry Robison.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, four brothers and two sisters.
John was a splendid friend, a wonderful and kindly neighbor, and highly respected and loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and neighbors.
Final services were held in the Lines Funeral Home, Corning, Saturday, February 8, 1958, at 2 p.m., Rev. A. E. Hunter of Omaha and Ourcq Post 117, American Legion, in charge.
Burial was in the Quincy Cemetery.
Music was furnished by Mrs. Bert Beckman, and Mrs. Doyle Transbarger, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. John Champ.
Pall bearers were Verlin Houck, Frank Adams, Homer Brown, Charles Richie, Carl Cooper, and Lloyd Reichardt.
