The purpose of the Troublesome Valley Battalion is unknown, and we have no info about the specific prize(s) they won. Handwritten identification is provided on the back (see image of back below), but unfortunately the upper left edge of the phone is slightly torn, tearing away the beginning letters of some of the names. Ken Akers has transcribed the names as best he could and has also included some genealogy/family history info:
