Your card of the 24th rec'd today also the three Adair News from Ma. And as I don't know much of anything to write will just drop you a card today and call it off. Are having lovely weather, but need rain. The grass is all brown. The evenings are cool, one has to wear a coat and have a little fire. My arm is getting along alright but the scab is not off yet and I don't think it will be for a while yet.

Well I am over here a month already now. It don't seem that long. Herbert is sitting here chewing gum. He is still errand boy as the Co. is not out of quarintine [sic] yet. Well I'll write you a letter some other day. Hope you all are well We are both well. Emma
