SALESMAN.--Mr. Wever came from Stuart, Iowa, Oct. 8th, 1879. He entered the employ of Hon. Geo. Gray and remained with him several years. He served his employer faithfully, and made many friends by his courteous and honorable treatment of all with whom he had business relations. In 1886 he was the unanimous choice of his party as a candidate for county recorder, and was elected. So satisfactory did he fill this office that he was re-elected in 1888, by an increased majority.
