A. H. ROBERTS.

Floral Divider Bar

DRUGS, BOOKS AND STATIONERY.--On Oct. 15th, 1878, A. H. Roberts settled in Audubon, coming from Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He purchased the lot on which he is now doing business, erected a building thereon and placed the first stock of Drugs in the city. By close application to business and by fair and honest dealing with his patrons, he has built for himself a reputation and a business of which he may well be proud. As a pharmacist he stands at the head of the list. A physician once said of him: "Roberts never makes a mistake." His beautiful home is an evidence of his faith in Audubon. He is an active member of the Methodist Church and in fact might justly be styled the "father," of this church in Audubon. He has been honored by positions on the city Council, School Board, etc., and has always proved faithful to his trusts. He is High Priest of Amity Chapter No. 93, Royal Arch Masons and E. C. Godfrey Com. No. 44, K. T.
