ATTORNEY-AT-LAW.--Among the lawyers of Audubon deserving of special mention is the subject of this sketch. He was one of the earliest settlers in the county, coming from Atlantic to Exira on September 18th, 1874, and on October 17th, 1879 removed from Exira to Audubon. During his entire residence in the county he has practiced law and been exceedingly successful. In 1886 he was elected county attorney on the republican ticket, and re-elected in 1888. At an officer in this capacity he pleased the entire people and proved himself to be efficient and painstaking. He has held the position of chairman of the republican county central committee and by his efforts the party has made an excellent showing. Mr. Hanna is certainly a man of which any city might be proud and as an attorney is high up in the ranks. He is at present a member of the law firm of Andrews & Hanna, one of the leading firms in this section. They also do a real estate, abstract and insurance business. Mr. Hanna is 46 years of age. He is a member of the Veritas Lodge No. 392 A. F. & A. M. and also a member of Godfrey Commandery.
