EXPRESS AND DRAY LINE.--The subject of this sketch came to Audubon seven years ago. He was at that time in the employ of the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific railroad, as conductor on the Audubon branch. Mr. Dennis was one of that company's old and trusted employes [employees], having served them faithfully many years. He removed from Stuart, Iowa, to this city, and four years ago engaged in his present business, and now has in his employ four persons. He is one of those business men who takes special pleasure in accommodating his customers and neighbors, strives to treat all with fairness, applies himself closely to business and his many customers have every reason to place confidence in him as a faithful public servant. He is a member of several secret societies and takes great interest in these institutions. He has implicit confidence in the future growth and prosperity of this city, and is every ready to aid in every public enterprise.
