ERNEST LEROY BUNTING was born 16 October 1878 in Jasper County, Iowa. In 1900 he attended a semester at Drake University in Des Moines. Before 1910 he was employed as a bookkeeper at Battin & Crist Implements in Greenfield. On 30 October 1912 he married Gladdis Mabel Swope of Norton, Kansas. GLADDIS MABEL SWOPE was born 08 November 1893 in Ottawa County, Kansas. She was the daughter of Oren L. Swope and Florence A. Clark both of Indiana. By 1916 the couple moved to Summit Street in Marshalltown, Marshall County, Iowa. |
