On June 11, Faye Maree, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Hickman of Elkader, became the bride of Roy C. Johnson of Minneapolis, Minn. Preceding the ceremony, Helen Kay, the youngest of the bride's sisters, lighted ivory tapers throughout the rooms where the nearest of kin of the contracting parties were assembled. It was a simple home wedding. Mrs. H. L. Klink, the bride's sister, was her only attendant. The groom's attendant was his brother, Carl Johnson Jr. The Rev. Chas. Gould Fort, and uncle of the bride, officiated.
Mrs. Carrie McKay and Mrs. Coe R. Braden, aunts of the bride served the wedding cake and presided at the coffee service.
The new home will be made at 3506 Sheridan Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minn.
