Miss Warren Honored

Miss Martha Snider entertained recently at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Snider, 910 Twenty-fourth st., for Miss Sarah June Warren, who has left for Smith college for her basic training in the WAVES.

Visitor from Capitol

Sarah June Warren, yeoman, second class, in the WAVES, who is stationed in Washington, D.C concluded a visit Monday with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Snider, 2909 Brattleboro ave. She also visited in Decatur, Ia.,with her parents Mr. and Mrs. George Warren.

Sarah J. Warren to Marry

Mr. and Mrs. George C. Warren of Leon announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Sarah June of Des Moines, to Adam Raymond Clopton, son of Mr. and Mrs. T.G. Clopton of Lindsay, Cal.

The wedding will take place May 25 at the home of Miss Warren's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh H. Van Hosen, 940 1/2 Thirty-fifth st.

Miss Warren attended Citrus Junior college in Glendora, Cal, and Drake university. She served 38 months in the WAVES and now is employed in the contact office at Veterans Administration.

Mr. Clopton was graduated from North High school and served 48 months in the European theater. The couple will live at 534 Polk st.
