Iowa WAVES Sparkle At Ottumwa Air Base

Donna Ware of Ottumwa, an instructor in communications in the ground school, is one of the WAVES who replaced a man. WAVES, who must be between 21 and 35 years old, have the same opportunities for advancement that navy men have. The girls at the Ottumwa base live in two large new barracks, but they take their meals with the men.
