Margaret Mae Strohm Enlists in Women’s Reserve Marine Corps
Margaret Mae Strohm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Strohm, enlisted in the women’s reserve of the United States Marine Corps at Des Moines Saturday. She has returned home while awaiting her assignment to an officer candidate school, which she expects to receive in the next two or three weeks.
Margaret Mae was graduated cum laude from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minn., this spring. For the past several weeks she has been employed by the firm of Bauer & Black in Chicago.

LT. STROHM HOME
Lt. Margaret Mae Strohm, of the Marine Corps Women's Reserve, arrived yesterday from Cherry Point, N.C., to spend about two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abner Strohm. At the conclusion of her leave, she will report at Parris Island, S.C.

Margaret Strohm Of MCWR Is On Terminal Leave
Lieutenant Margaret Mae Strohm, who was separated from the Marine Corps Women's Reserve at San Francisco, Calif., a week ago today, arrived home yesterday morning. She is on terminal leave until Feb.11.
Lt. Strohm, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Strohm, had been in the service two and one-half years.
She had been on foreign duty the last ten months, having been stationed at Ewa, Oahu, in the Hawaiian Islands, where she worked as assistant in the transportation office and also as assistant in the post exchange office.
