MARRIED IN CHURCH CEREMONY

Staff Sgt. Nancy Smith of the WACs and Cpl. Abe L. Ford were married Wednesday evening at Central Presbyterian church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs R.C. Smith of Jefferson, Ia., and Corporal Ford is the son of Mrs. William Anglin of Des Moines.

The Rev. Percy Nicklaus officiated at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Central Presbyterian church.

A reception followed at the home of the bride's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Goodwin,, 221 S.W. Forty-second st.

The bride is stationed a the surgical tech school at Atterbury, Ind. Corporal Ford served overseas three years with the 34th division infantry. He recently returned after being in a German prison camp for two years. Following a short wedding trip, he will report to Hot Springs, Ark. His bride will return to duty at Camp Atterbury.
