WAVE of the Day
Miss Martha L. Sever, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sever, 317 South Hancock avenue, has enlisted in the WAVES. She is a graduate of Washington rural high school, Kansas City, Kan., where she was active in the school's athletic clubs.
Miss Sever was been employed at the Rock Island arsenal. She will leave sometime in November for training at Hunter college, New York.

A group of WAVE recruits from this area left the Rock Island recruiting station early today for Hunter college, New York, for a six week indoctrination course.
