2 Mason City WAVES Sent for Training
Two Mason City women have completed their basic training and indoctrination course at the naval training school for WAVES, the Bronx, New York, and have received orders to report further instruction at various naval establishments through out the nation.
They are: Georgia Camilia Senior, seaman, second class, 21, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George B. Senior, 106 Georgia N.E., who is to report to the U.S.Naval hospital corps school, National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Md. Before she entered the naval service, Seaman Senior was employed as inspector at the Coca Cola Co., Denver, Colo. She attended Creston Junior college.
Louise Theresa Reynolds, seaman second class, 22, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Reynolds, 122 2nd N.W., is to report to the Link Trainer School, Atlanta, Ga. Before she entered the naval service, Seaman Reynolds was employed as English teacher at Macon high school. She is a graduate of Cornell college, Mt. Vernon.
