Cpl. Pauline M. Schmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Schmidt, 1311 A avenue NW, a former beauty operator, is on duty at the processing warehouse, Daytona Beach, Fla. A brother, Erwin, is in the army signal corps and another, George, in the army air force.

Sgt. Pauline M. Schmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Schmidt, 1311 A avenue NW, has received her honorable discharge at Fort Des Moines after 35 months in the service, stationed at Charleston, S.C. A brother, Lt. George Schmidt, is now stationed at Okinawa. Another brother, Sgt. Erwin, has received his honorable discharge and is now at home.
