Claribel Sanders in Marine Corps
Claribel Sanders, formerly of Carroll, who enlisted in the marine corps, women's reserve, March 10, is at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sanders, in Boone, awaiting her call to active duty.
Miss Sanders is a graduate of Grinnell high school and attended college at Maryville, Mo. The Sanders family was formerly associated with the Carroll County Club.

Sgt. Claribel Sanders of Grinnell, formerly of Carroll, arrived here yesterday from Washington, D.C., and is a week-end guest in the Clyde Cavanaugh home. Sgt. Sanders is a member of the Marine Corps Women's Reserve.

NOVEMBER BRIDE ...Before her marriage at St. Augustine Cathedral in Des Moines Monday morning, Mrs. John J. Cavanaugh was Miss Claribel Sanders of Oskaloosa. After the first of the year, the couple will live in Omaha, where Mr. Cavanaugh will continue his medical course at Creighton University.
