Cpl. Dorothy Ross

 

A family reunion after 16 months separation was celebrated in the Philippines recently when Cpl. Dorothy Ross, member of a Far East air forces headquarters WAC detachment, and her son, Sgt. Wallace Ross, army air forces gunner, met in Manila. Sergeant Ross recently arrived overseas as a combat crew replacement. His mother, who entered the service in October, 1943, has been overseas 14 months. She wears three battle stars and the Philippine Liberation ribbon with one star. Corporal Ross lived with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.O. Wallace, 4330 Ashby avenue.
