MISS RUTH RICKS IS AWAITING WAC CALL
Miss Ruth Ricks, daughter of Mrs. Joyce DeCamp Ricks, 408 Campbell avenue, has successfully qualified for enlistment in the women's army corps, according to a release from Des Moines, Wac recruiting headquarters. Private Ricks will be called to active duty about Nov. 15. A West high school graduate, she has been employed by the Powers Manufacturing Co.

Pvt. Ruth Ricks, daughter of Mrs. Joyce De Camp Ricks, 408 Campbell avenue, has completed training in the clerk school of the Wac at Des Moines, Ia., it was revealed Wednesday. Private Ricks is now in Camp Atterbury, Ind., serving as a Wac secretary.
